Take Action
Want to join the fight against malaria? Then check out these easy ways to help!
Donate a bed net (or two!)
For just $5, you can send an insecticide-treated bed net to Africa to protect someone from being bitten by malaria-carrying mosquitoes while s/he sleeps. Just click here – Against Malaria – and make a donation. 100% of your donation goes to a distribution in Sierra Leone (Summer 2009), a joint effort by GHF and our distribution partner, Global Minimum! Start a Global Health Forum partner organization in your town or on your campus
Form a group, educate people around you about malaria and other global health issues, and raise money to buy bed nets. Coordinate your efforts with other groups around the nation through our national networking! If we all work together, we can make malaria a more prominent issue in our national consciousness. Please contact Network Coordinaters Cariad Chester () or John McMinn () for help getting started and to join our national network.
Tell your friends
Too many people are unaware of the devastating effects of malaria and other diseases on populations around the world. Tell your friends about our website so that they can become aware of the problem. The more people there are who care, the more likely it is that something will be done!
