   Arthroscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique where small incisions are made at the shoulder, knee, or ankle. One incision is for the arthroscope and the other incision gives access for the surgical instruments. When compared with the traditional open surgical procedure, this technique involves less trauma to the muscles which allows for better joint stability and for a quicker, less painful recovery.
